Ok I'mma say it now cause it feels crazy and I don't see anyone making such a claim yet, but I'm thinking "future sight" may be the emperor guys kid
I mean thinking on the evidence, "future sight" was there at the banquet right? The emperor was definitely the guy seen at the start of the chapter and has a heir that went missing three years ago, with the woman I suspected to be her mother off none other than vibes, and just this chapter there's the emperor noting she looks familiar despite knowing her true form, she'd look familiar but would be able to place it if she is his daughter but her hair is a completely different color in a completely different environment, and it's been three years, three years also correlates to how long the training is supposed to take on the low end, OMG I feel like a conspiracy theorist, am I in spoiler territory? I'll return if it's confirmed true or something

IDK if you're referring to Su You or Wei Xi but if you mean Su You she's literally the daughter of a general and has trained in combat for years before the fall of the previous dynasty and her escape to the brothel.

This has been conjectured/pretty well established since we saw Wei Xi's vision/flashback where Su You was trying to attack the emperor and both Wei Xi and the empress (whom iirc Wei Xi called mother during the vision) were there. It was outright confirmed last chapter with the empress being referred to as empress.
Also, out of curiousity, why do you use those titles instead of their actual names? Its not like Wei Xi or Su You are hard to remember. Hell Su You's name is literally in the front page description.

Ok so on the first point, I was talking about wei xi, making the connection the only logical way she could have residuals of skills in early chapters is due the muscle memory from this here training
Now on the second iiiiiii don't recall that being outright confirmed but rather heavily implied, but mayhaps I somehow glossed over it
Well I mean there were dots to connect so I was connecting them

And on the name thing much Yuri cycles through my head so typically names don't stick much no matter how often repeated, I can tie them to characters but I can't be bothered to spell out non american names so I usually assign nicknames that reference the characters I'm talking about, nicknames are also more fun
I see the issue here is I've yet to come up for a nickname for su you and have avoided using her name since which has lead to confusion ah... That's my bad, I hope my thoughts seem clearer now
