It has been a while since I read this series from the beginning, but was it ever made clear what Menka’s motivations were for making Wakou’s life miserable? Like, did she lie about his size/performance just to make him lose all confidence and easy to control, but to what end? I guess maybe this current arc will shed more light on what she is trying to accomplish by not leaving Wakou and her sister alone.
