I hope Ryuu is announced as a sub tomorrow. If he starts, then I feel like bad things may happen. I want Oda to struggle and Ryuu comes in to save the day.

I think Ichijou could better replace one of the central midfielders as he is now. He has vision, decent marking, passing and long range shooting. But playing in Oda's position will be key for him to regain his boldness and refine his dribbling.
After playing a little as second striker, i would vouch for him to play further back. If the team was more offensive minded, a midfield trio of Koumei, Ryuu and Tomosaka would be a hefty one.

A player like him could totally play any offensive positions really. Winger, centre forward, attacking mid, false nine etc. He's just so good and balanced. Heck, maybe he can even play as a holding midfield if the team really needs to.
