Doesn't matter what she wants. All what matter is her bloodline. She was born from royalty and that is all that matters. She is forever princess even if she doesn't like it.
You have to understand that her bloodline is what is threat to others. Even if she doesn't want to rule. Some other people could use her or her grand-grandchildren as figureheads for rebellion in future. To carve kingdom from empire because they have heir in their grasp who had legilimency to be ruler of that country because of history and bloodline. You can see this all the time in history. That is why sometimes every member of royal family is killed so nobody can't use that bloodline in future to their own ends. From history great example is Russian's Royal Romanovs line which was killed so they or their descendants couldn't ever establish The Russian Empire ever again. You see, you need royal bloodline to create kingdom or some sort of creation myth at least. Without it you can't have legal kingdom or empire.
