It seems kind of weird to me for the publishers to let artists draw so much of something they (or at least the people making the rules and laws involved) clearly have a problem with if they have to censor it so heavily. At some point you'd figure they'd be like "Look you can have him kill them all, but pull your punches on the bloody stuff. You're going to have to cover it all up anyway."
