@wimpyegg the problem is that he created a hypotheical that combines several ethical issues to prove his point.

Slavery is an ethics issue of capitalism> liberty/personal rights. But he adds in cannibalism and babies for sympathy (think of the children!).

Like making an argument for vegetarianism by creating a hypothetical "What if gladiator matches were held w/ cows, chicken, pigs ect. and we ate the loser in front of it's family."

edit: also I couldn't help but think it was idiotic for him to pay a slaver up front and expect him to deliver the slave after jumping through some hoops. You are just asking for the slaver to just skip town on you. I really hope this was part of some bigger scheme.
