This Grandfather is single-handedly dragging this series down. It went from very wholesome to annoyingly toxic very quickly

Grandpa, please...

With buffoonery on this level, it makes me wonder how he got to where he is without someone backstabbing him sooner...
He was probably raised to have a spoiled life but didn’t party or do drugs before entering the company so I imagine anything potentially “done” to him while younger ppl wouldn’t risk bc it’d be seen as an attack on the chair man too versus someone specifically assigned as an “assistant” but secretly double agent/spy to report to the ceo on what his son is up to

I think we might be talking past each other slightly so to clarify, are you talking about the spoiled dude who shares the MC's name? Or his adoptive son who's trying to take over currently? Because with the comment I was replying to ("no wonder the adopted son he raised turned out to be an ass, since he [grandpa] is also an ass") I was talking about grandpa/ceo himself (who founded the company iirc, right?) acting like such a clown at times it's a wonder that someone (anyone, really, even just random subordinates) didn't see a chance to try their traitor shit to attempt a hostile takeover of the company years before this story even started (and I don't really mean the adoptive son killing MC's dad, that's more of just typical evil chaebol shit assuming if he's the only child he'll get the company eventually, versus plotting an active takeover like he is now), unless grandpa finding his biological family after so long really let him drop his guard to such a drastic degree that he's acting like a completely different person (with some really toxic tendencies) who doesn't seem like someone who'd be a good leader of such a massive company in the first place

Why is grandpa now elitist again, just a few chapters ago he was saying education background didn't matter so why does who he dates matter. The fact that he keeps emphasizing "my bloodline" makes it clear to me why his adopted son and grandson turned out the way they did.
