My take is:
She's someone who's gotten over it for the most part (as she said, Rashid took care of the trash family already)
Then she saw a bit of herself in Alice and decide since she is in the position to do something about it, she'll try and give this child the life she(Cianna) never had.
Yeah, plus probably a bit of vicarious revenge on exactly the same kind of people who abused her, and who are doing exactly the same kind of thing to Alice.
What I find interesting is that we're now seeing Cianna's willingness to make use of Rashid - I'm not sure if I just missed it, but I don't think that grab of the shirt we saw this chapter wasn't shown previously, and that changes the complexion of their interactions quite a lot. Obviously she's willing to use him
for Alice right now, but that opens the possibility that she'll be willing to use him for other purposes in the future.
Of course, that also raises the question of whether she realises that Rashid has been helping out with Alice at least half because it gives him an excuse to interact with
her - sure, he has lingering affection for Alice, and I suspect the more he deals with her when she's not just an abused victim the more that will turn into a real caring relationship, but his shiny new toy is being so
interesting! If (when?) she realises that it'll be interesting to see how she reacts . . .
