Damn, I am shocked how good this actually is.
This is like a peak pixel art indie game.
Graphics are far from top notch, but the art style just kicks ass so hard that you can't help but being captivated by the characters. The art just oozes with good taste.
Feels like Disney art in its golden age of old school art when they drawn characters with subtle eroticism and abundant grace.
Story is light and funny so it is a tasty read.
Goes up to chapter 42 on other sites.

After comparing the early chapters to the later ones, I noticed that there is a gradual,but significant quality drop in the last chapters of the volume 1.
I sincerely hope the author (who seems to be the artist as well) does not loosen it any further and actually reuploads a bit better upgraded versions of at least close up frames.
Seems to be a young self published author so we will see where this goes.

Hi! I wanted to thank you for your honesty. I actually stumbled on this comment while I was giving a talk to college students about fandoms, reviews etc on comics so it led to a great opportunity to show what good constructive feedback looks like.

I know I'm replying to your second comment, but I really appreciate your first one as well. Probably one of my favorite remarks about the style, and you hit the nail on the head. I'd explain more but this is already going to be kind of long so I'll leave it at that.

Your assessment is completely right, mostly because I was experimenting with different methods back then. Nowadays, I've gotten into a better flow. There are about 2-3 episodes I'd like to update for sure but otherwise for now I've chosen to accept the rickety quality in exchange for having the time to post more episodes.

I am a young (relatively? late 20s) self-published artist, but at the end of the day I try to be smart about it, and I try to hold myself to the same standard as big names anyway. Mostly I traded in shading for switching color palettes, and so far I've really enjoyed it. I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea though (funnily enough this change happened RIGHT AFTER the episode you mentioned - 42).

I wanted to ask if you've kept up at all with it, and if so, how you feel about the style I eventually settled on. If not, if it wasn't the quality of the art I'd be curious to know what it was that caused you to drop it, partially for my own curiosity, partially it would be a great follow up the next time I give this talk!
