I have no idea what's going on anymore. So, Lust is the Queen of the country. It doesn't really matter who it is. She knew of these experiments because they had been going on for a good long while in a military facility in the military capital. So, why does she act as if she couldn't put a stop to this on her own? It's nothing but the end phase of an experiment that was performed with her blessing, like I said earlier. She was even cooperating with a demon to do it.

Maybe the series will explain it later. Or maybe this story is just a mess.

this story is so cooked lol. power scale is all over the place, plot is stupid, contrived and full of plot holes and characters are boring. the original premise it had going for it was decent with him struggling to control gluttony but the scale of the story got so big so fast. its just horrible

She (Lust/the Queen) gave the gun-like weapon to Envy (Northern Alistair, Roxy's subordinate)... since Lust said that the gun was originally hers... This story is getting so convoluted. I'm guessing that the queen is actually not good nor bad, remember how she said that she was a neutral party? So she probably knew what was happening in the military district, but didn't help or try to stop it... the same is probably true for all the other things that have been happening.
