Better Handling of Anthologies

Currently anthologies are handled poorly at worst and inconsistently at best. This is attributable to the fact that one-shot stories are not uploaded consistently, sometimes being uploaded as part of a multi-story anthology and sometimes being uploaded individually.

Moto Hagio's "Yanagi Ki" is an instructive example. Search results present both a page for this 20 page story itself, and for an anthology within which it was published. This is somewhat unintuitive, and the consequence is that the same story must either be uploaded to the site twice under different groups or must exist in only one of these places. I in fact uploaded the story as an unintentional duplicate under the one-shot page, not even realising that it already existed as part of the anthology collection - a testament to how much this state of affairs impedes discoverability for short storie, and also obfuscates the fact that some stories may have been published in multiple anthologies.

The solution would be to treat anthologies not as normal manga but as glorified lists, either linking users to various one-shot pages (each allowed to have its own rich description and cover) or transcluding links to the chapters from the existing one-shot pages, something which I'm not expecting to see any time soon. (either that, or policing and removing one-shots consistently so that those stories are only present on anthology pages. That still leaves the problem of multiple anthologies supporting duplicate copies of certain stories though)

You can just report such cases and they will be merged into the anthologies - which is normally the case.

The ones you find - or in this case added yourself - just haven't been reported yet so no one has compiled them.
