Man there's so much to unpack. Serpent seems kinda like a nice dude, genuiyle caring and worrying about her and telling her to leave, even if that means going to another room. Also there's obviously something wrong with Alice.

And also the room can change the appearance of the guest, so a red flag for Alice, I see a plot twist in the future.

I will just remind that yes, bullies and every teacher that overlooks that must be treated exactly like was shown in this chapter - maimed mutilated and murdered over and over and over again, without any mercy. Every person which considers bullying as norm has to be treated the same.
