I mean, he just blame it on time and glossed over everything else. What about the decisions he made? Surely an ethics teacher must be a thoughtful man, but I guess he lacked formation in concepts like iteration... Wait, the problem here is an absence of creativity. The author isn't taking into consideration the creativity of his own characters, who are conscious they're living in a simulation but don't experiment out of their regrets or desires... What if they are curious?
