I think Irene is trying to make Elianna either look bad or straight out hurt her.

she spilled water on her book (probably to get Elianna to yell at her), the library ladder was cracked and the water pipe in the garden broke. (Maybe Irene sabotaged them?)

But, I do think that Elianna's friends know that something is up and are trying protect her

Ooh my god. I really love the art and the warmth of the beginning (as someone who reads books a lot, I relate) and she's so cute but then boom domino falling. Feels bad for her. I hope she doesn't turn into a villainess or something and can stay happy, even with books, at the very least.

I feel like Irene is a genre savvy reincarnator. No actual story world, just genre savvy and ambitious. After all, four hot young men with lives that largely involve one noblewoman whose connection to the throne is suspicious from an outside perspective. Ideal otome setting. Unfortunately for her, a few key elements seem to be off.

Unfortunately for our dear precious MC, the bibliophile is not great at actually reading people. Like, Survive as the Hero's Wife level of dense.

Hoping this does not become a case of the prince testing her affection for him with another girl, but It dose seems several things are wrong.

I mean who has a teapot in a library full of potentially 1 of a kind books... let alone the fluke of dropping it on the 1 book that is not owned by the royal family.
The crack is large and should have been noticed by the cleaning staff before getting to that point, especially if it is close to eye level, and really should be on the other side of the ladder

So it does feel like "someone" is scheming against her...

Though coming from a family outside the faction politics and apparently more educated/learned then the rest could make for an excellent queen candidate for the crown prince, but no training for the role is a bit weird if it is normal enough that the MC is aware she should have been receiving it for a proper engagement. So it can be understood if she is convinced the prince is only using her till he finds someone he wants to marry. But I would not be suprised it allot of the lessons are things her reading actually end up providing, and she is just lacking in practice.

Everything that has happened seems like sabotage. In fact I suspect that the reason why Theodore gave such a response is because he doesn't believe it to be a coincidence. Of course he could be plotting with Irene but I doubt that's the case, the library being closed the next day is probably because they are investigating.

She literally does not think it's love unless her heart goes dokidoki like in the book.

That's why even though so many things that other people see as romance between her and the male lead, she herself always assumed it's not love because of that 'logic'
