This had nothing interesting to say. And a boy getting jealous to the point of lashing out because you got new friends (not even boys, btw) is a huge red flag, even for a teenager it's bad.

Pretty controlled way of adapting the Rapunzel fairy tale into the symbolism and dialogue of this oneshot, imo. Honestly it's kinda abnormal to me how nicely executed what it takes from Rapunzel is without detracting much from the fact that the story is "real".

Nothing it adapts is done too literally, taking just enough that it doesn't reduce itself into a "what if Rapunzel but it was in high school?" while melding it into the story's other themes.

By no mean perfect, but a lot more delightful than most oneshots try to be, imo.
