This series caught my eye as it's recently finished running in Cookie and I'm always looking to put more slightly offbeat josei (shoujo? who can say with Cookie...) into the world. I also realised that I had no clue about any shoujo/josei published by Shueisha recently! Birdland no Sara ranked in Kono Manga ga Sugoi a couple of years ago, too. Bookwalker had the first chapter up for free to promo the final volume, and I was pretty much instantly in thanks to the fun art and story. Plus I love a gratuitous supernatural twist...
Love the art and the personality here; Japanese reviewers all say that it's just a fun time with Sara and Akio, and while I think there's a danger of it being overstuffed with plot elements I feel like everything's so specific that the author clearly had a lot of fun writing it.
