I don't like how this was adapted. In the WN, it was far more tense, with Leon sitting out the battle until the Silver Dragons were on the verge of annihilation, as Rosseweisse asked him to protect their daughter. It was not until her army was about be destroyed that Rosseweisse unbent enough to ask him to save her people as well. Here, it's just a foregone

I think the emotional weight is a bit different too.
in the LN, he was basically like, "i'll just get us the fuck out of here."

The satisfying payoff from the silver dragons thinking the queen's consort was just a weak ass dragon with no skills, not even strong enough to hold a dragon form and he turns into an aimbot just killing hundreds with every step.
