Wait did you do a typo? It is a Daughter right? Then why does Auntie refer to her as a He? So which is it?
It is a daughter.
I don't really know why, but it feels like for the past month or two a lot of translations have been mixing up 'he' and 'she'.
I don't know the specifics on how all these groups/people go about translating these stories, but it is a pretty weird oversight that has been occuring often lately.

I've seen comments here that the fourth daughter is born without a tail. But isn't that a problem for the child? It seems dragons place a high value on their tails.

No need to worry about that, she'll get her tail later on though it's somewhat smaller than her sisters

Side effect of MTL. I doubt like 99.9% of scanlations have anyone that's fluent in both languages anymore, and a lot of pronouns aren't gendered in Asian languages, at least as far as I can tell.

It's why every single grunt or mumble from a character comes out as "Um" here; there's no nuance in the MTL to know the difference between what sort of noise is appropriate. One example I can think of is the date chapter after they leave the fortune teller, and Leon asks if they could possibly have more children, she responds with "Um" first, but it really should be a "Hmm..." or something.

At this point I just mentally replace anything fucky-sounding, myself.

MTL probably wouldn’t confuse them. A human would confuse them because there’s no difference if you’re saying it in your head.

Leon: "I won't give up until mankind wins the war of genetics!"

Ten dragon princesses later...
Still dragons here use their dragon forms criminally rarely. I mean ok, it is a romcom, but the majority of events take place in Dragonland & MC is the only non-dragon here.

Don't give up Leon, may the 10th child be born without a tail
By then, he’d have fallen for his sunk cost fallacy, and would try for their 20th baby, at that point, he’s trying to hit pity, but pity doesn’t exist in baby making time

Yeah, the human form really seems to be the default form. They are even born in human form. At least nobody questions this newborn's appearance aside from its colour, so this is likely the norm.

Though Rossweise's children are half-humans since her husband is a human, they simply lack of dragon genes.
It is rare when half-dragons can turn into dragons (like in Goblin God, where
MC's daughter was born as a dragon and even was as strong as pure-blood ones. The only question is why a humanoid form is a human if she is a half-goblin
).

It's said dragon births can be either oviparous or viviparous, and it's harder for viviparous children to transform in their dragon form, so I guess oviparous children are already born in their dragon form
