the way it's spelled, Yi Chibang, is how the author spells it. i own a lot of promotional material that confirms that it is romanized as Yi Chibang so that's what i went with for イー・チバンoh hey look its @Angry_Panda on the inside cover page
camera-chan sticking the landing and licking the lollipop is so cute~
im learning mandarin chinese and the way dragon ball parody guy's name was transliterated seems a little wonky to me. i understand his name is just "ichiban" spaced out to sound pseudo-chinese in order to mimic how sun goku is the onyomi reading of sun wukong. i think the way of writing it out that was chosen mixes up two different types of chinese romanization. two-thirds of it look like pinyin, so i suggest changing the transliteration to "Yi Qibang". or maybe make it even more linguistically confusing by using "Yi Jibang" from 一級棒 (yījíbàng) lol
oh that's fine thenthe way it's spelled, Yi Chibang, is how the author spells it. i own a lot of promotional material that confirms that it is romanized as Yi Chibang so that's what i went with for イー・チバン
edit: all of the transliterated names for this arc are literally on a poster i have on my wall
from corocoro! this was the bonus for the issue chapter 26 ran inoh that's fine then
is that poster an extra from physical volume releases or corocoro magazine?
