Isn't the story kind of sequence breaking with the original manga?

@blackcoffee most Spin off adaptions Are, it’s difficult to know in advance how successful you projects gonna be so planning for sequels and spin offs in a way that would break the time line is difficult.
In my head I’ve placed this directly after the

demon is defeated in the original manga, obviously there’s a problem with how the actually ending happened that resulted in the cannon not allowing for a revival of these characters as they weren’t really angry when they were defeated

. Basically the game was probably green lighted around the climax of the first major plot( where the most traction is).
