Eeeh why does Noel not know common sense with spells? She was top of her classes and everything so she'd know the theory of usual usage limits. Also while I get she came from a black company, again she should know from the workers there it was abnormal work situation (one she for some reason chose to stay in like nothing stopped her being in other magic places before that stupid place that should have had huge rumors of bad work conditions.)

The mage guild in Noel's former town feels more like a personal profit business than a mage guild. As a guild chapter, the income should belong in part to the larger Mage Guild organization assuming guilds are similar to each other where there is one major organization to which a lot of branch chapters belong to.
