Got to be weird, translating translated game terminology back to English from Japanese. Especially if you aren't a huge Wizardry head. So many similar sounds, but kana are always approximations. Probably why also why all the old guidebooks and rpgs included the English alongside the Katakana.

Yeah, it's on the bottom of all the covers. I'd also point out that bit on the last two pages "Welcome to the world of wizardry" but they did have it as "wizardry" not "Wizardry" there so it's easy to just assuming it's talking about magic in general.

Yes, i learn about Wizardry because of this manga. You can learn more of people who know about it in the comments of chapter 8.2. Even the way the protagonist views the dungeon is apparently a reference to the game Wizardry. And from there, theories emerge...

Yeah I feel a little bad for the translators, because being a licensed property even non-Japanese speakers like myself can nitpick issues with names and terminology
