The Author always makes these dark female MC's with tragic stories. It's not a bad thing but it's weird how the Author executes the relationships between characters

@LoneWizzy Weekly chapters are always censored, but volume 1 is fully uncensored.

@Stevostin i know... Still doesn't change what i said, this version literally showed a mutiliated female body... And also knowing how almost nobody in manga community bothers to reupload with tankoubon versions or wait till they are out in the first place uncensored version might as well not exist...

Yes! one of my favorite manga got a sequel! I've alway been a sucker for wild kratt type superpowers, so arachnid and caterpillar just satisfy that itch, but i really wanted a continuation of arachnid, i'm a sucker for non-spiderman spider superpowers and this type of storytelling

I don't get what bugs have to do with rape zombies. I think this one may actually be too much for me. I'm out

@TimDNchantr Read the prequel, its great, and towards the end, it explains the rapist zombie apocalypse, but if you want a quick answer, read on.
Some species of ants are Eusocial, basically hive minds with central control units in queens. The big bad's power is making people part of that hive mind, and a minor character can basically control the zombies with his power.

So, huh.... Is it as bad as the prequel? Do we get a story this time?

They progressed too quickly with the story. I know I'm dumb but i really don't get what's going on. One panel there's a fight between an ant and a cockroach and in the next couple panels there's a zombie apocalypse. It's a shame though, the art looks good.

@CateGod It's a sequel to two manga called Arachnid and Caterpillar (the first is fully scanlated and the second, a prequel-spinoff, is halfway done). In short,
a battle royale for Alice's head results in the zombie apocalypse when she kills the girl who was the source of the virus. The events were all manipulated by an ageless babaloli so obsessed with population control she let Japan get nuked on purpose during WWII for the lulz.

I hope the author at least uses the sequel as a chance to follow up on all the loose ends and missing characters from the previous series. Otherwise we have to assume they all got done in by the rape zombies.

@PokeHeroRed Honestly I have no clue what you just said
and I read about 1/3 of Arachnid like 2 years ago. So really I'm not even gonna try and understand the story behind it.
