Like Naruto, Bleach is one of those shounen action manga that has a great hook, an awesome execution, and a lot of charisma; to begin with at least. As the chapters roll on, the story slowly begins to suffocate under the weight of its more or less shallow concept and not even memorable, endearing characters can make up for the poor ending. If you like action manga, I suggest reading this until you feel it's boring, then setting it aside.

If it had ended after Soul Society arc, it would've been perfect shounen, with it's kinetic battles, great visual designs, characters realized just enough to be interesting and having room left for growth, emphasis on improving oneself, power of friendship, and all that other target demographic crap. As stupid as it is, even after ten years i think of Aizen slicking his hair as one of the coolest manga moments in general, period - self conditioning i guess.

But well, it went on after that. And on and on, and on and on. Until it became shadow of a shadow of a shadow of what it used to be in the beginning. I plan to reread it somewhen in the future - i stopped around volume 50 or so - but i doubt it will make me happy.

Thing is people treat them as isekai if there transported or trapped in another world no one was trapped in nother world and while they do visit other worlds they can go back.

Can anyone tell me how to jump to the last chapter I read in my language? It was bad enough when I first started bleach bc I had to sift through 57 pages to find the first chapter in English, LOL, so I don’t want to have to do all that again. Though I’m pretty sure I may have stopped reading it on this site bc of all the missing chapters, I wanted to check in case more were uploaded. Basically I want to jump to the last chapter I read without having to sift through 3000 other chapters.

@MazzieB811 you can hit the cog on the top right and select your preferred language. then when you go into the chapter list you should be able to see an "eye" icon on the left of the read chapters.

Also, a lot of chapters were scanlated by groups that don't allow re hosting

however the digital colored comics version has a lot of chapters after the monochrome version. They haven't reached the end yet but they have made some good progress.

Bleach.... It's manga that holds special place in my heart. It was first manga tittle that I've ever read... Sadly, great potential was wasted by Jump editors and bad health of author. I love to come back to it and read it once again.... great characters, simple but interesting story and awesome universum. I hope that Kubo Tite will make Manga adaptation of his "Light Novel" and continue this Masterpiece. Thank You.
