So the alleged girl (who looks like a boy) decides she wants to walk home with him, they just walk awkwardly in silence most of the way... and then she announces she wants to go to his home. Have they even meaningfully interacted before this point?

I get this is supposed to be about his mother, but aren't the other kids the really weirdarse ones?

Also what is with their pathetic, ghetto excuse for a school uniform?

@TheBadger40 : Then it failed as hard as it is possible to fail. I pointed it out precisely because it is NOT remotely realistic. And you seem unnaturally unfamiliar with the behaviour of kids. It is almost as though you were never that age. Were you built in a lab? Or maybe your name is literal? =3

@SotoCoto I see your retardation has spread to the next chapter. Are you unnaturally unfamiliar with the concept that there could be backstories to characters that haven't been expanded upon, or you can assume? Were you always this unintelligent, or were you never that age?

You know the story is at least somewhat interesting when the comments section is already getting heated within the first few chapters.👺

It's likely too early to tell for sure, but Seiko is giving off some yandere vibes. Concering Fukiishi's interest in Seiichi, he's probably been giving her the childhood crush stares from quite awhile now, and she's obviously noticed it here and there. Him interrupting that other dude at the pool was the trigger she was looking for to express her own interest, in him. After all, Seiichi seems like a nice normal-looking kid, is able to make friends, is pretty smart, and not a jerkass; it's completely natural for her to want to see what he's about.

I just have a feeling that the mother uses cats and such to make the food cause every chapter she is asking him what he wants

I don't think the it failed it does come off pretty realistic at least to me. Not every human conversation is natural and flowy. I think it's just because the MC is so introverted and lives in his own bubble that this normal interactions catch him off guard a bit. I'm also really akward and on the spectrum so when I was a kid another kid could attempt to have the most normal conversation with me but since I didn't know how to properly engage with people. Almost all my interactions seemed unnatural as well.

Also I don't think the girl was weird for wanting to walk home with him. It's pretty clear that Sei has a crush on her, and I think she reciprocate it. But since they don't know each other well she wants to get to know him better that's why she asked him to walk home together and to come over.

It's really not weird or unnatural for kid to want to spend more time with another kid they like.

I finally know why the mom is so off putting to me despite how sweet she is. It's because she kinda reminds me of Sangwoo's mother from killing stalking. I really hope they don't go down that path tho.
