This guy obviously was in need of serious mental help and should have been sent to psychiatric clinic. But it's Japan, so they most likely just brushed his condition off and just kept him in kids prison

I still can't get over how him and Fukiishi could have has a whole life together. I wonder how she's been doing all these years.

I actually really like the idea of time skip. It was executed well in flowers of evil. And also it makes sense considering how Seiichi became so detached to all things that made his life what it was. It makes sense why everything else after was nothing but a blur to him. Just nothing but meaningless day, after days

i really want to stop reading, this is the best psychological horror i have ever read. i was so mad and disappointed when shigeru died because i thought seiichi was finally gonna get better but of course, it is not an easy path for anyone, especially for what he went through. it breaks my heart to know that this is reality for a lot of people. im impressed that the author could write something so plausible and horrifying. i have to say this is his best work so far, and i hope that when i finally reach the end i can still say the same
