This is getting more and more average with each new chapter. I guess it's obligatory for the artist to squeeze in as many shoujo tropic cliches as one can before the end. Oh Japan, why u so resistant to change ("faxes").

Are people realizing this is a seriously overrated series yet? It always has been, and for years it's felt like yelling into a void whenever I've said "it's really just not that good".

It's called having different tastes. I like it well enough.
No offense, but "you know, the thing you like isn't that good" is the perfect way to get people to ignore you. I'd rather hear what recommendations you suggest to read instead, and why you think they are better. (This isn't snark, BTW, I'd legit welcome good recommendations.)
As for the "cliche trope" criticism, I won't deny that, but some people like their tropes. Like how there are fans of Hollywood action blockbusters even though they're basically all the same. To make a pizza analogy, if you like pepperoni pizza, you don't necessarily want the person making it to add all kinds of weird stuff on it just to be original. Maybe you just want a normal one, but well-made. There's no need to try to reinvent the wheel every time.
Personally, I welcome both originality and well-done execution.

It's a romance. Ultimately it is very difficult for a romance to be both (1) Original, and (2) A Romance, in any remotely emotionally satisfying way. The basic shapes available are few and fairly simple, all the stories have been told forever.
So for instance, it was clear from the beginning if you thought about it that anyone who thought they saw "aromantics" being represented here, was ultimately going to be disappointed. It's a romance, they were always going to stop being nonromantic, the same way robots do in those romance stories about robots.
IMO this is only disappointing if you thought it was somehow going to pull off a logical contradiction. I'm finding it really quite good.

I don't think anyone really expected Yuu not to fall in love in the end, it's just that personally I would have liked the author to explore the idea further. Maybe even with different girls and ultimately finding her answer only towards the end of the series.
Honestly, I don't understand the complaints about this being too slow, if anything Yuu fell in love too fast and the main gimmick of the manga that differentiated it from others is now pretty much gone. Feels a bit unsatisfying how it evaporated so quickly. I still liked this chapter though.

I think it's about tastes. I personally think so far Koushin Koinu Ni Koibumi Wo is the best..
It is more interesting without too.. You know what, yeah just like Yagate Kimi ni Naru plus it also has a nice art work.
Yagate Kimi Ni Naru becomes interesting because Yuu is "cold".
It is cool that she doesn't cry.
That is great too.
It is better if Yuu just like that.
That weird senpai is the one who should fix things.

I like it the trying to treat each other normally afterward but with the added awkwardness feels natural to me.
@ma_ko If it is and you read to chapter 35 of it anyway I really recommend to start dropping stuff much sooner if you don't like it. There is so much media out there that sticking with something which isn't good is a bad habit. (It took me a long time before I stopped finishing every book I started unless it was really bad, but dropping quickly leaves much more time for the good stuff.)

I've gone through more detailed arguments explaining its faults, cliche, dullness, and repetitive developments (<- this being the worst aspect, seriously, it often goes over the same points over, and over, and over and that is incredibly grating, feels like a hammer to the head; if this series didn't have the rather interesting character of Sayaka, this one aspect would make me call the series outright awful) that you'll have to forgive my irritation over people saying 1) it's amazing and 2) nothing could be better (and yes, I've heard this often). So yes, I will say "the thing you like isn't that good", because that's what you say when you feel something is overrated.
If you want something similar and more interesting that this, try Fragtime. In fact, you probably already have unless you forgot about it, it wasn't an unknown yuri series. I don't think Fragtime is the best, just somewhat similar to this and with a more interesting arc especially given it does not overstay its welcome. If you want a better romance (not yuri), Taiyou no Ie (simple, with a strong focus on family) or Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mo Uso o Kasaneru (subversive, light, believable) are some recommendations I'd give. Honestly, before its AWFUL final arc I even considered Citrus better than Yagakimi if only because it was entertaining as opposed to the plodding and circular nature of this series. Also. indeed, if anyone thought this was going to be a series about aromantic relations... that baffles me quite a lot (and the people who thought that were NOT few in number). If you just like it as a whatever drama romance, fine. My issue is taken with the pedestal it is put upon above all other yuri so frequently.

Consider that most yuri series don't last very long and even if they do they will actually have the relationship confirmed quite early. It has been over three years since this series began, which means its development has been quite slow.
