I can't decide whether this is slice-of-life or melodramatic—rather, it feels like the premise is melodramatic, but the execution is rather low-key so far.

In a similar vein, though he seems to be coping pretty well all things considered, our protagonist seems to have it pretty rough with his luck so far...

If it can keep up this low-key tension, this could actually be quite good, quite possibly? But possibly I'm hoping for too much, too early.

I'm a little confused about how his hand works. Like, is it completely prosthetic or partially? Like, he didn't notice when that his hand got stepped on in the first chapter. How far does it extend too? I think he said that he has metal in his arm, but does he mean arm + hand, or just his arm? How injured did he get? Gah I don't know enough about prosthetics

I'm enjoying this and all but every time I read "blue cheese table" I cringe. That kinda cheese stinks to high heaven. Why call a bar that?! *cries in zulu*

I like the bar manager a lot. He looks so suspect but he's just a bit cheeky lol.

While you could tell it was the author's first story and a bit rushed, it's still a worthwhile read. It's got some drama, but enjoyable, low-key drama. The characters felt realistic and the romance was pretty understated. Definitely more of a shounen-ai than yaoi -- no R-rated content, but with mature characters. Thanks Aloof for the translation!
