The way Fairy Tail's author reused his designs was absolutely terrible, but here I don't see any problems. It's a shared universe, so it's perfectly fine to have appearences from characters from ReLife. Also only the new guy resembles Yoake Ryo from ReLife and that's because apparently they are related, so it's alright.

@IlhamYanto I don't think romance will be much of a focus in this series, ever, maybe one final arc about that to pair Nagi with someone but the focus seems to be on the little and big dramas on their lives.

It kind of is shit of them to make him pay for their upkeep. Yes, Nagi is very definitely the worst of them all in terms of the actual effort that he puts into his studies. However, that doesn't justify how he has to literally pay money for the food and increased electricity that they use. It's even worse given the fact that he isn't able to work at his job to get more money because he needs to study.
