It wouldn't be a sports manga without the teams being level on scores (goals in this case) before the decisive final point (again, goal here).

Isagi's been in a Blue Lock for a while now and he still doesn't know how shit works!?
In Blue Lock, whenever you think:" he can only do x number of things", you always get fucked up.

EVEN I saw the nutmeg shot coming from 10 miles away because the only trajectories Isagi imagines were high curved shots. And HE's the one supposed to have Metavision but ok...

Whatever...

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Barou learned nothing.

Sure, the man is a scoring machine. But he hasn't really refined his strategy or technique at all.

He is still the same "Fuck you, give me the ball and I'll score" he always has been. The "character development" he's currently going through is "Oh? You think I learned to be a team player? FUCK YOU I'M STILL THE SAME DUDE! IN FACT, I AM PISSED OFF AT THE FACT THAT I TRIED TO BE A TEAM PLAY

When you think about it, it is character development. As it is an assumed choice. He even said that if he failed being the king his way then he'd die honorably.

He's gone aware of the error of his ways but still decides to push through AND is ready to accept to consequences.

To me that's also a bit of character development but idk...

The fuck is up with this scene framing? 2 chapters ago, they were right outside the box, then Barou makes a long speech, they... pass like 7 times and go right back to Barou... who is still right outside the box??? Were they purposely waiting for the entire other front half of the other team to make their way in the box? Why are like all of their forwards in their own box? Did they give up on a counterattack?

Also how small do they think the box is? It's not that small, and shooting outside the box on average only actually has about 1~5% chance of scoring, let alone with defenders in play. So Barou nutmegs outside the box, and the ball just like zooms without ever slowing down to touch the ground? I understand shooting upwards but that's a really long distance to travel as a grounder. Not saying this is impossible, cuz it happens irl, but that kinda shot probably isn't that fast going into the goal. Grounders are usually hit with some level of spin or curve, not a flat straight shot like Barou did. With a forward spin, a shot like that is faster if it bounces a couple times on the ground

Noel Noa didn't do jackshit the entire game. He even failed to block that goal. And this is the best football player in this verse?

It appears Barou's superiority has led to some controversy :02:
