Rin's team didn't get any other game because you were able to pick your opponents. No other teams wanted to play them. Isagi's did, so that's why they played against Rin. It's almost like you skim over the manga and barely read it @duckiedoggo

Also when you saw the next challenge, Ego treat them as if they're the first team to have five members. Did that mean nobody in 4-player team try to play against each other?

Where's the other characters then? Did the author just "fuck it, just move the plot and scrapped everything else" or what?

@Sonaldo no, but it doesn't make sense worldbuilding wise. If the genre is fantasy or something like that, then i'll shut my mouth. But it does follow real life standards, and i expecting real-life worldbuilding.

Isagi's just spoonfed by the plot at this point, which is alright for shonen genre. But is it have to be that much? Up until the point that Rin's team aren't playing against anybody all that time? It's not even making any sense either since any other player would like to challenge that star-studded team, it's a win-win solution anyway. If you win, you get the best player in facility. Else, you might be picked unto that team

idk man. Most people like to play it safe and not go for the king straight away unless they believe they can beat the king. And even if someone did challenge Rin, would Rin want to play against lowly scrubs and take them for his team? Wouldn't it be better for him to accept the challenge of someone he consider worthy and take them into his team?

Yes. He's so lukewarm that their match ended 5-4 and pushed him to his limits. And Isagi is literally the first and only person to challenge him, the number 1 player at Blue Lock. Maybe Rin thought Isagi is pretty good and brave to do that? But you totally need him to say that instead of using your brain to figure it out right?

But yeah, that is impossible unless stated by the author and the readers shouldn't use their hesds at all. Just wait for the author to spoonfed us those information. 😐
