In most stories, we know WHAT will happen. Goku winning against a strong villain, Naruto talk no jutsu, Conan solving cases and so forth. The true reason we read them is to know the HOW. Is it predictable? Yes. Is it still enjoyable? FUCK YEAH IT IS. Plus we still don't really know what will happen. What if in the next match the speedy princess got injured and they have to play with a man down? What if Barou got insulted by Rin and loses his temper, getting a foolish red card? You never know man.

I don't think it is a guaranteed win for the Isagi and co. (because they don't get eliminated even if they lost), they could lose and Isagi could swap teams.
Even if they win, I don't think it's certain that Bachira will be picked...I'm actually more interested in that. What if the rest of the team want to pick Rin (that dude is like the best meat for devouring out there).
