Hmm.. I am going to make a hypothesis.

It seems like with prolonged peace, the humans start to have a god complex or wage war against each other.

Curtis helping the demons is actually trying to unite the humans back by giving them a common enemy.

Goddess sending our MC is to become a beacon of hope.

Helluva big percentage of Australians have Irish heritage due to emigration escaping the famine, "transport" [convicts], and other reasons.

Some additional info here to give a little idea of how this character may think.

A lot of Irish "convicts" were rebels from the many wars against the British Empire to try and free Ireland from English rule. So you can imagine the reaction of an Irishman who was either transported or descended from them winding up in a ye olde medieval tymes with straight up royalty...

Anzac uniform too.

Here's a fun fact: that hat? No Emu feathers. That would age it back to WW1 Infantry if I'm not mistaken.

Mostly cavalry units (from what I understand, only cavalry units like the Light Horse cavalry units were given official authorization to wear it; but that doesn't mean other units didn't do it). And it was an on-again-off-again thing from the late 1800s onward. It fell out of favor and started back up several times.

The Aussies became famous and associated with it during WW1, though.

Uniform looks similar to the the WW2 era uniforms of the Light Horse cavalry units that I could find. I have a feeling he's much more likely from the ~1930s or WW2 than something earlier.

Considering that it's cheaper, free in some cases, that is exactly how it should be used.

To allow the poorer masses to enjoy making artworks without the money nor time nor accessability.

Just like what you're doing now on this pirate site, matey.
Ah yes, famous inflation got so bad that pencils and paper are out of reach of common man, gotta rely on computers on the cloud to show off their artistic skills, they surely posses and completely not on mercy of whatever generator spews at them.
I guess even Paint is too expensive to use.

and I'm aware of irony considering the place, doesn't change much however. People who pirate things can do a whole lot more than just beg for stuff, heard of keygen music and such? All I see is complete lost of any sort of respect, which scanlators usually posses when they ask to buy books when it's available in their country to support author.

And talking about piracy - considering we have abundance of great artists out there in hands reach of internet, decision to generate some vomit inducing "art" instead of grabbing some cool artworks from net is the saddest state of affair.

Ah yes,the moronic statement which forgets that people do not have time to just pick up a skill and do it to a satisfactory level, the exact same statement some have made about learning a language, more so when they need the work on a deadline.

Spend years toiling away past the deadline, pay a relatively large sum to some other human who might not even get the work done(among other human aspects)before the deadline...or a small to no sum for results in mere seconds that can be tinkered with to get the desired result well under budget and below the deadline.

Time is money, and not everyone has ample amounts for both to add in more that consumes them.

Also, yes, there is a skill to using AI art,the real big shots have had already spent their time and money into coding, allowing them to better manipulate the output, they are at no ones' mercy other then their own.

And don't like what you get?,just re-roll the dice and spin again!

Respect?,online?,you clearly haven't been around long enough, and you're forgetting the protection that your online mask provides.

Yeah,no one gives a damn, more so when asked to spend anything for a publication that isn't translated, isn't available in their region,and/or for a cost that far outweighs what they get, more so ones and zeros that can be ripped away from them at anytime, and plenty of places will NEVER become as viable as these interweb high seas full of plundered booty.

The vast of majority of us are here because we have no other means, nor excess means to drop on these hobbies.

So your solution to not "stealing" indirectly is to "steal" directly?...

By the end of the day,it's decent artworks for little time and cost en masse for the common folk, and any n' all pushback is pointless this late in,the real effort should be put in to make sure that Judgement Day doesn't arrive.

Yes, we do rely on scanlators precisely cause not everyone is able to learn language, but even so, you surely can feel how bad is it to read MTL translations?
Or you also don't care?
Somehow people were able to make ok credit pages and/or donation requests pre 2022. Wild.
Making something out of nothing is simple if you try. You don't, so you won't know.

If you want, you probably able to doxx me online, not that hard for people with relatively old online handle. Over dumb reactionary argument on mangadex, I guess it may be worth your time since that seems to be important for you to attack people and not arguments.
Whole this talk happening on Mangadex of all place is also funny, since it is generally place people go because it is not your regular aggregator piracy website, and at least tries since Batoto times. If this talk was going on a bit more regular aggregator websites, your point regarding respect being worthless would hold a bit more value.

And yes, stealing art directly is leagues better than generating vomit inducing images. At least you get better image on your harddrive and not delude yourself into thinking that you made something.
"Common folk" is very funny defense of huge corporations which use all data made out of you to sell you less version of the past with less effort for same price, while you happily wipe your dirt from artists backs.
Only danger generative AI creates - is making your own hobby you like so much worse via removing people and time from equation, fattening management and executives wallet.
But hey. You got that sense of pride and accomplishment I guess, that should be worth something, right?

Oh he’s Australian. I recognise that rising sun badge anywhere. My dad has dug up a good bit of those metal detecting. I wonder how an aussie and jap became mates in another world during the ww2 era?
