The improvement is certainly there, I'll read Mango's eventual TLs for the nuanced stuff but props to you for not letting the complaints get to you and commit to getting better at it.

The one good thing about this TL is that it's coming out faster than ripe-mango's TL. But the TL quality is low enough that it really doesn't make a difference. I'd really rather wait for better quality even if it means a bit slower output.
My main worry is that ripe-mango will stop TL'ing since someone else is now doing it, and we'll be stuck with lower quality scanlations. Like yes this chapter is an improvement compared to your previous TLs but it's still not great.

wow, the amount of improvement in just a couple chapters is quite a lot! now the entirety of the chapter makes sense, before it was like between each panel stuff didn't really connect, the quality of typesetting and also tl sfx, and a lot more! this just really goes to show that as long as you're having fun and enjoying yourself, you can really do anything

For a good reason. If you wanna keep reading subpar TL while the previous TL get crapped on by having someone take their work then you are the problem here.
Damn, so many ppl got angry over a TL, I still got the joke and what they meant in their conversation of the manga. The good thing is chapter coming out faster than the previous TL that we don't know when will come out lol, and the TL is improving good work right there. And ppl complaining that ripe-mango will stop translating this manga if someone already did one, well if that is true than the TL is not that terrible ig

Everytime i go to a chapter discussion, it's the same 3-4 dudes sounding like a broken record "sniping bad, poo poo quality huh duh"
For fuck sake, this is a chapter discussion topic, not "I'm going to repeat the exact same drama from the previous chapter just to stir up shit and stay relevant" Yes we know you don't like this dude's work more than a month ago, we know how to read. It's almost like you don't give a shit about the manga itself and just want some cheap drama.
I'm not going to say you can't criticize a translation but can you just make a seperate topic and post about it there? Well I highly doubt more than 5 people will ever visit it though.
Back to the actual chapter discussion: if the "Yamada method" actually turn those 2 into half decent players, should that even be considered Ryou preying on them?

It's hard to have a chapter discussion when the TL quality is so poor you have no idea what the fuck happened in a chapter without having to try and piece it together through some vague understanding of the general events.
You'd think that a fan of this series would respect it enough to not shovel garbage like this TL out into everyone's faces when there is already a competent, quality translator working on the series. To all the people who say 'at least it's fast' what happens when this idiot catches up to the raws and you have to wait a week or more for each new chapter? will you care about the low quality then? I hope so.
