God, I love this panel because those loner main characters who are great at sports always have a backstory where they throw themselves completely into the sport practicing everyday for years until they are insanely good at it before surprising their classmates with their incredible skill and yet Bocchi is acting like that skill would just comes naturally as some hidden talent. You should know better than anyone the effort it takes miss practices the guitar for 6 hours a day. Bocchi is not genre savvy even in her own genre lol.

Two chapters ago, there was the new character who took Bocchi to a baseball game. Now there's a basketball chapter, coincidentally(?) released around the time of the NBA playoffs/finals. Is this a way of telling us that the manga is changing genres? 🤔

The series will follow in K-On's footsteps by sending the girls to England... for football.

The only sports manga I've read is Nononono, which is about ski jumping of all things, so I think it's funny to see sports manga parody chapters like this and recognize the tropes anyways. Reading one random sports manga about some random obscure sport you know nothing about is an experience I highly recommend.
