From what I can tell, it’s more a case of “you get what you pay for”. And, well, onikoroshi is like 90 yen to a box, so you aren’t paying for much. Even then, I’ve been told that for 90 yen, it’s not bad, but it’s not bad by the standards of 90 yen sake in a juice box. It’s not something drunk for being good so much as it is something drunk to get shitfaced, real quick, real cheap—pure gutrot. Kikuri is a raging alcoholic in a lot of debt, so it’s honestly fitting.

I came in not knowing anything and expecting much.

But to my pleasant surprise, the manga ended up being fun and interesting! It added more details and extras on behind the scenes of some of the stuff that happened in the main story!

Hiroi's antics and added perspectives from other characters really made Bocchi's story more grand!
