Before you start your flame wars.
1- I'm tired as fuck so I'm probably sleeping by now.
2- For this chapter, I actually went and learned Photoshop CC 2023.
So somewhat good redrawings and typesetting that don't require a damn magnifying glass to see are here.
3- For the translation bros, everything after chapter 60 is a genuine effort.
Yes, I did use MTL initially,
after chapter 60 I'm actually doing my good damn best,
stuff from checking dictionaries
and hearing the words' pronunciations (My vocabulary and JP grammar understanding isn't half bad. I can get a lot by listening or with romaji readings)
Checking sites like Tofugu for onomatopoeias, using the Pixiv dictionary for internet lingo.
B-but if you can't read how do you even translate it? OCR (specifically Mokuro, is a great free and open-source project on GitHub.) I manually check each kanji by eye too so I make sure nothing is wrong. My Hiragana and katakana are fine.
I have deleted Chapters 57-59, mango did a great job on them.
4- I initially started this because I was pissed at the shitstorm chapter 55 caused, both sides trying their best to argue a fictional character's sexual orientation.
(You've probably noticed how my chapter 58 was suspiciously straight lmao)
I have given up that lame goal of trying and censoring Bocchi The Rock, my chapter TLs are now how Aki intends the original to be. You can check the Boyoko chapter.
(I still have my belief but that's what impartiality means)
5- Why are you coming clean now?
I am actually enjoying type-setting and translation and everything, even if it took me damn well over a 100hours in these past 15 days and a lot of hate in return.
6- Will you stop?
Unfortunately (or fortunately), no! My autism is too high for me to quit right now.

T"I learned photoshop" good on you, it's a nice skill to have, but the machine translation will forever be worse that what ripe-mango puts out.
Competition doesn't lead to innovation if one of the competing forces is clearly inferior and just trying to pump chapters faster to stay relevant. You deleted your own chapters after mango translated them, so what's the point of doing any of this?
Why not dedicate your efforts into translating another manga that doesn't have an active quality translation? There are tons of dropped works in mangadex. A lot of readers would appreciate if one of their reads suddenly came back to life.
Do you really need attention so desperately and that's why you need to work on a really popular manga? I really don't get it

Most yuri is mostly fetish pandering to male readers like yaoi these days too, there's little yuri that's actually aimed at lesbians. Wouldn't surprise me if we get a division of yuri and lesbian manga like there is for yaoi and gay manga soon, it's getting big enough for it.

That's a little different again, those are mostly about feelings and closeness and intimacy, but not necessarily romantic. It's sort of like yuri/yaoi bait honestly. Though I think the girl's love and boy's love tags are a more wide group covering everything.
I'm not an expert on the field though. I'm not interested in yaoi, and I mostly read yuri if there's an interesting story or if the art is pretty good. But yuri is mostly a fetish aimed at males like yaoi, and it's just not really my thing. I guess I'm just not able to self insert as one of the girls or something.
