Trying to decide if this was the author's way of saying "see? Everyone from Kyoto is just blunt to the point of being an asshole, it's not just her family that's like this"
But it doesn't do much to alleviate how distasteful every character from Miyuki's past is, and the fact that the one who said the truly objectionable stuff did nothing in the way of even acknowledging that she was being a bitch for zero reason, just solidifies it.
PrettyBoy said it at the end there, though. Why did Sora leave himself out of his wishes for them to not have to put up with "disappointing stuff that sticks in your head"? Just how much has he internalized all the inadequacies that have been thrown his way by everyone, including those who met him literally seconds before like these "middle school friends" of Miyuki's?
I look forward to seeing what happens when Sora 'speaks his piece' and what Miyuki's reaction is to hearing what her brother requested of her husband-to-be.
Thanks for the TL
