I want to enjoy this story and the fmc is cool but it’s just soooo unmemorable like reading a few chapters and putting it away to pick it up tomorrow and have absolutely no idea what’s going on is so irritating. This is probably the most unmemorable story I’ve ever even read, 5 chapters in and some pages just don’t work and how they always talk about dialect this story was NEVEE supposed to leave Japan. To get how unmemorable this is I can remember Vagabond’s entire conflicts and character tropes and the absolutely incredible arc I read and give a long ass summary and detail it with enough description to probably pass my English exam and I read that back in APRIL. This manga, however, has a hard time staying consistent with its own dialogue and momentum just falls flat on its face every page. Shit I don’t remember anything after the first few pages. How does chapter 1 even END?!?! There’s 0 consistency, 0 uniqueness, 0 substance, hell I can’t find anything that can keep me interested with this. It’s definitely dropped even though I rly didn’t want it to be.
