@Syanalassa Simple answer is that Maka was the only one who actually made a move. If she hadn't forced a response from SID, they probably wouldn't have done what they did and have all the members confess on the same day.

@BZo1480 Except that Maka is ignoring his feelings in this situation and just forcing what she wants on him and abusing her power to win.
like she acts hurt that the MC doubts her but doesnt do anything to allievate his doubts, this feels like another stockholm syndrome harem/ victory in the making

@Syanalassa Pretty much all of that is covered in chapter 2 and while it's not included in the manga adaptation, Makoto himself says via internal monologue that Maka pretty much cleared up almost all of his doubts right before he escorts her to the train station after R-15 video incident.

And really, the SID girls would've done the exact same thing to him(ignoring his feelings and forcing what they want on him), only that the very rules of SID prevent that from happening and them from making a move until Maka forced their hand.
