I really hope this series is successful. Their dynamic is so cute!

I really thought handholding being treated as something embarrassing was something exaggerated by the media, but it is indeed true that it is quite uncommon in Japan. PDA is so cold there. Some young couples can be seen handholding, but you'll never see even a kiss in the cheek.

No wonder they have the problems they have.

Not to mention when even at a private space like a home, some girls are repulsed by their boyfriends' pervy behaviors like that one complaining in this chapter. Like I get there are lines that need to be drawn at different stages of a relationship, but I think everyone secretly wants to be desired to some extent, from both guys and girls. If she's just going to break up with him without even bringing up the issue, she'll just set another example of why guys shouldn't even bother trying to get girlfriends.

So Asumi usually wears black panties. Very mature for a tall girl like her. It's implied he saw her black panties before.

Ah yes, the fallibility of memory. He doesn't remember that SHE went for the kiss first, not him.

What the fuck is malaria
It's a mousquito based disease.
When you are getting sucked by a female mousquito, there is a big chance where they unleashed the malaria virus through our blood.
You can also get it through other blood transmissions.
At first, Malaria will incubates for 7 to 30 days and then some symptoms will appear, and it can be pretty hardcore when it's hits (I got back in May).

Malaria causes around 400k deaths per year, especially in poor and in-developpement countries (like mine).

TL;DR: should you be worried about Malaria? If you are in USA or Europe, probably not. If you are in Africa or South-East Asia, be careful about mosquitoes.
And even if you got sick (I hope not), Malaria is a very curable disease.
Most of people who dies from it are just people who can't treat it before it's too late.
