Nice to see finally people are realizing that Yamada is the much more selfish one of the two. And all compromise has always been made by Kyotaro.
Kyotaro was far more antisocial than Yamada. He has to work far harder to face his issues. Always he is the one sacrificing.
Author really needs to showcase growth in Yamada as well.
Dude, she constantly agrees to things she is asked to do but doesn't like doing them. We saw Yamada's emotional state several times due to her inability to communicate with Kyo. She tries to do all this because, in her opinion, it means "being an adult", and this is a dangerous mentality considering where she works.
I also find it amusing how people complain that Anna isn't giving up her career for Kyotaro (which he does NOT want her to give up, and leaving him just to be with him literally negates everything Kyōtarō has done for her career and goes against his desire for her to move forward) without demanding anything from Kyotaro to be closer to her. And at the same time, beat her up for not being able to handle doing what Kyotaro asked her to do?
The concept of "only one person is to blame" won't solve this problem, because it is a communication problem on both sides, and correcting it with the actions of one side in the conflict will not solve the problem, but will only force at least one of the sides to continue in the same vein. Yamada has not yet expressed her desire not to appear in those scenes with that actor, and if Kyotaro simply pushes her to continue to adhere to these restrictions and scolds her for acting like a child, he will inadvertently push her to participate directly in those scenes.
No one denies that Anna needs to grow as a character. This is just my opinion, of course, but I think Anna's entire character is moving in the direction of making her own decisions, rather than those dictated by other people. This directly relates to the plot involving the agency where Yamada works.
