In case you haven't heard, volume 13 just came out. In the extras, Sakurai-sensei mentioned that the series will end in volume 14.
No fckin way

It's sad that author don't want to dive deep into "artist x common people"

Weird because previously they keep mentioning "omg Yamada got kiss scene in one of her drama"

I'm begging God, we get extra wedding chapter

Fuck, I got real tears in my eyes. Shit brought up all the bad memories of school, being told I'm smart and I got this just to fail on something. That exact feeling of not wanting to be around anyone and kinda being empty.

Shits rough rough.

I hope its a bit of a fakeout for failing and that he did much better than he thought.

I expect that to be dealt with pretty quickly because you can't actually make a middle school girl have a kiss scene with a grown man
They can make little kid playing with adult women breast and kiss in movie ( yes ...this from real movie ...and the female was also one of Japan famous artist also last time )

For sure they can

Clearly, this means separating doesn't work and you should hang around all the time instead.

Either that or Ichikawa is terrible at celebrating, which is on-brand.
Separating because you want focus on study only always will failed badly ...

Let me use gimai main couple ...

Both uni exam very important but even yuuta did close his book and spend time with his gf....when you want focus on studies only you need a little break also ..to balance your own state of mind

----------------------------------
If we have only a volume left I hope it won't be filled with drama until the last chapter.
Pretty much many planned milking drama now alrdy flushed out of toilet

Suppose have many more storyline

Like Anna sequel drama acting...since from this for sure want focus media stalker will start picking on her personal life to pick juicy gossip

Ichi suppose going need to have some kind " upgrade arc " so he can finally confident about being equal with Anna in real world

Then suppose will have drama when both real relationships being exposed either in school or thru media expose ...since right now other people in school only know him as " stupid guy" who confess at Anna during her bday and get rejected Infront many people

And so many thing more that I lazy to write...yeah ....all flushed away into drain

Not super surprising, the whole cast is getting broken up after middle school ends. And I don't think Norio has much interest in writing about people older than like 14 so a time skip sequel series seems pretty unlikely. Great series, looking forward to how it wraps up.

Dang, Ichikawa really didn’t want to be around anyone when he saw his exam result. Feeling the intense pressure of wanting to get into a school of his choice and working hard for it is part of why he’s such a goated romcom MC.
I definitely don’t blame him for ignoring Yamada again at first, since he probably feels he isn’t worthy of being with her and is simultaneously mindful of her acting career. He was 100% ready to shoulder the result by himself, even telling her to get off his bike.

I honestly didn’t expect Yamada to step up and comfort her boyfriend in public with quite some people watching. That’s bold and could actually ruin a career in the Japanese showbiz industry if word spreads she has a boyfriend. If she doesn’t prioritize her relationship over her career with this for good — combined with everything she’s been through related to her job since Volume 11 — I don’t know what will (phone ban, no school events, having to keep distance and being secretive, being uncomfortable with the idea of filming certain scenes). No need to quit the industry but trying to treat both her relationship and her career as equally important seems futile.
Regardless, this chapter strongly hints that she won’t film certain scenes, because obviously nobody is happy with that idea except for the producer maybe.

Page 7 confused me a bit. Did Ichi call Yamada an idiot for bragging about the rank of his first choice to Ishimuro?:ROFLMAO:

Of course he have bear burden on himself ...no one seems interested to give him any help at all ....

Just look back this past 2-3 chapter ...everyone keep blaming on him on him ...even his own family ..not even abit mood of want to help ...only scolding and berate him like him the only one who fault in the world ...even Anna never even say a very simple sorry until this chapter ...

Dude, considering how you were screaming in the comments here and on Reddit that Norio was going to force her to cheat on her husband first, then dismissing it by saying that the editor allegedly forced her to cancel that storyline, and then yelling that they would force Anna to cheat Kyotaro or something like that, it's hard for me to even imagine what you mean by that. It's not like the story was ever so dramatic that it could pretend to be another Oshi No Ko.

I think it's a bit rushed to wrap up everything that's left in one volume, but I think the story was going to end long before he moved on to high school. Kyotaro's failure on his last exam led him to this state, and it's obvious that passing the high school exam this time is one of the last plots.

So yes, the storyline with Anna's role will not be so dramatic and was not even planned to be like that. Nothing like this ever happened in the first 13 chapters, so why should it happen now?

Of course he have bear burden on himself ...no one seems interested to give him any help at all ....

He didn't tell anyone that he was having difficulty preparing for exams, trying to cope with it all himself and keep quiet about it. When he thought about turning to his sister, he saw that she was job hunting and hid it, never talking about his problems with Anna, never telling anyone what grades he was getting, avoiding the issue. Only now did Anna find out for herself when Kyotaro tried to hide it again and run away. We know how it ended at his previous school. Throughout the manga, we watched what this led to.

Just look back this past 2-3 chapter ...everyone keep blaming on him on him ...even his own family ..not even abit mood of want to help ...only scolding and berate him like him the only one who fault in the world ...even Anna never even say a very simple sorry until this chapter ...

If that's what you mean, Moeko actually intervened in the previous chapter, and the others didn't really understand what was going on themselves.
