I really disliked Yamada throughout most of this series.

Volume 12 - 14, specifically, were just terrible because of her.

That should have been the perfect opportunity to grow her character, but Norio just had her cry and pout throughout THREE whole volumes.

Volumes 1 - 11 were gold though; Ichi one of the best MC in a very long time.

7/10 series, would never re-read it again.

The real truth nuke is the guy schizoing out all those chapters ago about how Yamada's parents suck for letting her have such an exploitative career was right. The end had to be like this because there's no way to proceed with this setup without upping the drama exponentially in their highschool years. I'm fine without that. I've seen the twitter art of them together, it's easy to just accept that they stay together without needing to be shown every minute of their lives.

Can’t believe this started in 2018, it’s been a wild ride. However, man, it could’ve done so much more if there was just one or two more chapters going over their future relationship. Maybe the publishing company really wants readers to go to the spinoffs, because this feels off for the author to do given the existing quality of story writing.

the ending gave off the feeling of letting the air out of an airbed. It just kinda fuzzed out, nothing really happening. Hell, there was a gag of his family interrupting the graduation, and he just walks up onstage to pat her on the head then walks up. I mean, I guess they had to end it somehow, but sucks compared to the quality of the series overall.
