Could be she just chooses guys that are prone to doing that. It’s also not uncommon for a guy to become more confident because he got a girlfriend and starts acting different. Or even more common, the new girlfriend ups his style/grooming/manners game and suddenly a mediocre man is more appealing to other women. She could be fixing these dudes, such that they feel empowered to trade up.

Even though she’s a ball of chaos, I suspect she just chooses poorly rather than making them bad
