When I saw this get uploaded, I was sad to see that it was over, but still stoked to read the mass release.

...until I realized that I'd read all these chapters before, so whether this was a re-upload by the group or I just read a different group's release, there weren't any actual new chapters for me and I just got reminded about this series being over, instead. Sad, because until the final chapters that felt like a rushed ending, I really liked this one.

She says the possibility of it coming back is not 0, though for now, she feels she's not mature enough as a mangaka. She asked for it to be cut herself.

At least she is mature enough to know she isn't ready for the kind of story she wishes to present others with. I hope she does grow as an author to the point she feels confident enough to finish this.

So, in Mangadex classification is manga Cancelled or On Hiatus (or whatever it was spelled out) then? It does look like Completed is not exactly correct, so perhaps somebody should report manga page for status change (with twitter link provided). I'd do it myself but don't wanna annoy mods with second report (my first got rejected, but i didn't have any links at the time).

This might just be messy enough that none of the categories fit perfectly. Completed makes the most sense to me since Kizaki-san knew she was doing a last chapter (for now) when she was drawing it? I can see the case for Cancelled and the case for On Hiatus as well, though. Real life sometimes makes a mess of things whenever you have to sort things into categories.

I feel like this manga lost the way completely, it turned into some stupid shonen powerup transformation battle manga with "more powerful enemies, NANIIIII!??!?!"
The initial premise was interesting, could have derived into a revenge gore isekai as it should, with lots of romance, but no, it devolved into this "this is not my final form" with stuff with no explanation (magi for example)

Perhaps that slip is why the author needed to step back. She realized it wasn't going where she wanted and realized she needed more practice to make this work.

Agreed. It's always a little heartbreaking when someone says "I'm not good enough to continue (for now)", even if you have the feeling it's going to be temporary. But a creator's confidence definitely factors into things enough that I respect the hell out of them for recognising that they need to grow before they get where they want.

Art is great, but story has massive problems. Tons of hints about big things going on, lots of tropes being thrown around. Feels like things are going too fast too. Feels like stitched together cliffnotes of other mangas.

• People get summoned from other world (Japan).
• [Later: Summoners are evil, sadistic pychopaths with a "doing this for the greater good" veneer.]
• MC gets revival power. So start chopping him up for parts or something. [Later: so that they can use him for parts to upgrade themselves.]
• Rest of summoned get usual "you're the hero" treatment. [But this is more basically putting them in the pasture until they get turned into parts.]
• [BTW, which parts are useful? Eye? Okay. But how about brains, kidneys, limbs, sexual organs, etc?]
• MC escapes by unknown means, and isn't attacked by big hand. [Means: his own ancient "whatever I want" magic. Hand: Because it's a magi hand?]
• Meets vampire babe, who he frees, and who escapes with him in typical "Found a strong, devoted babe to save my ass before I go through my power growth phase."]
• Misc. fights happen.
• Acquires a ghost familiar. [Which has not yet, but most likely later will turn into a hot/cute ghost girl.]
• Meets some supporting cast [Haunted house and butler in mansion.]
• Decides to help zombie boy out of goodness of heart. But zombie boy would still be a slave -- just a slave with a better master. Zombie boy never awakens or convo relationship with MC, vampire babe or even lich.
• Lich Guy: "Lets try to kill each other, but become allies afterwards." fight.
• Other summoned show up to "free" MC. He lets(?) himself get captured. Then has a convo with them that lasts for about two panels. "I'm not brainwashed." "You're just saying that because you're brainwashed!"
• Vampire Babe and Lich go to free MC.
• Priests: They're actually very strong. (Because they're using harvest parts of summoned people. But shouldn't that make them roughly equal, not vastly superior?)
• Priests are of course, all smug, superior pricks. But there's some sort of conflict between them??? Or at least from the one blondie who's doubly arrogant?
• Priests plan apparently is to consume all magicules in the world, thus removing what monsters need to live. But Prof Lich immediately recognizes that this would also end the seasons and thus end all human life as well. (So why didn't Priests figure this out? Or at least worry that it might happen??)
• Meanwhile there's a goddess who plays some completely unknown role in that she can sanction or bless a particular summonee. And apparently she did this to MC. And maybe this relates to why he's 1) has anction magic, and 2) can do that Magi thing (which is a type of ancient magic? Or is better than ancient magic?)
• Oh and BTW, it seems that MC is actually a reincarnation of someone (probably loved one) that vampire babe knew in the past. But she's lost a bunch of her memories. So she doesn't remember.
• Oh and MC who was a scaredy cat in the first panels can now turn into an edgelord badass, who of course loses control and has to be comforted by vampire babe to revert to normal semi-wimpiness.
• Oh BTW, vampire babe, for some inscrutable reason, decides to stop MC from killing the priest asshole who absolutely should have been killed. [Got to keep those villains alive so that we can revisit/reuse them later!!!]
• ...
• I'm getting a headache.
• Is the author actually making a parody by stitching together tropes like this?? NO! Sigh.
• To be fair: These sorts of edgelord powertrips aren't my cup of tea. (I get drawn in curiosity of plot and lore.)
