Kinda hard to see her as "bi" as how much venom she has for the guy for just being in proximity of the girl she is eyeing.
My current theory to accommodate to the mixed signals the author is giving us goes like this:
She tells him every complaint she has about him but the way she expreses those complaints don't really describe her true feelings as she does not understand them, take the "your body heat is disgusting" thing as an example, she's communicating disgust at feeling his touch but that's likely just her interpretation.
What's certainly true is that she's feeling uncomfortable because of the distance and she's extremely conscious of his touch, this could be disgust/discomfort but seeing how she's not actively putting space between them it's safe to asume that's not the case.
Why is she so aggressive then? well cause she's fixated on thinking of him as her rival so whenever she evaluates her own feelings she uses that as an explanation.
I have to say tho, while I like the concept and I do like her character I think the author is doing poorly at writing the characters in general, like didn't Mahiru say she knows Asahi is in love with Sora? Why is she talking about those two being a perfect couple right in front of her then? While I think this manga is interesting I also think it's relying too much on those moments where someone says anything being all
and everyone around is like
instead of acc elaborating on what/why/how each main character thinks.
