@herbderb98 check out chapter 4, she made one on a 128gb memory card and gave it to the sister, she also said she wanted the Mina series deluxe option kit for 7.5 million yen.

@Phiwise_ Yeah how in the world are harsh loud words spoken in defense of someone else more coercive than hurting someone with your freaky robot tentacles?

A camera would only display pictures or movies, files it would recognize. System files won't show up. You can test this by plugging in your phone to your computer and setting it to "treat as camera" instead of "usb drive", only photos and movies will be shown in the directories. The memory card could be filled with 100gigs of "MEMORY_DUMP_1of417.BAK" and a folder filled with picture jpg's.

@herbderb98 Memory is not all of what make a personally. Just think about it. in a computer the CPU is the part that "think", data is what the said computer learning, and greatly decide how it running. So the the brain and the memory is both improtant. Give a memory to a different brain, Or same brain a different memory may create one somewhat familiar but won't fully the same anymore

@Tcof We don't know at all how that Mina series' AI functions. If it's using a fully simulated neural network, you can just copy the memory to a new unit and it will behave 100% the same, assuming the new unit has the specs to allow similar behavior. However, if it's some really fancy neural network processor with plasticity, that is, like a biological brain, then you obviously need both the processor and the memory. Although even in that case, it's quite likely there would exist a process to copy the state of one processor into another processor. They are artificially engineered and manufactured products, after all.

@Kaarme Mac app won't run on google. And there are system requirements. So it pretty simple that you need hardware,
And like they are manufactured mass product. So at first they have same hardware. But each have different life, so their physically hardware could change. and in fiction, these small odd chance is what we get a lot

@Tcof They obviously don't have the same hardware. The simpler models should have a lesser CPU compared to the more expensive models, both to save manufacturing costs but also to create a greater difference, which forces customers to spend more money for a better experience (if they consider more complicated behavior to be better). That's exactly how it works in smartphones and computers. Technically a higher performing CPU could allow the same behavior as a lesser CPU, but seeing how the Mina series is most definitely running an AI, I'd say it's almost guaranteed the behavior should change when there are much more resources available. Of course going from a better CPU to a much lesser one would be akin to a lobotomy.

Man
I am going to having a rough time when we eventually learn about abused Mina series robots.
We've only met 3 so far in the story and I wouldn't want any one of them to receive human abuse.
...
Man it's going to hurt.
