I was confused too so I went back to check, it's the blonde girl from chapters 5-7 (the same one we see Osaki with on page 9 here). The one Hikaru described as "the one with the lustful vibe" in chapter 6, p5 (very funny to read again after chap 21)

wow i'm so engrossed with this story. i guess it's gonna be over soon... i hope he gets with Akari at the end. even though i'm pretty sure he'll end up with Hikaru

It's feeling like this is the beginning of the end of his relationship with Akari here, if not the end. Neither one of them are really pushing to end things but also seem resigned to it just not working out. Akari is trying to keep things in his court. She's interested but not going to waste any more time if he isn't so he's going to have to make the next move from here on out.

I don't think he's going to contact her again, even though they would probably be great friends. His reactions just didn't seem to indicate he was that into her romantically.
