That's the tradeoff with translating from one language to another. Certain nuances get lost. Related to cultural differences too.

In most Asian cultures, people tend to speak indirectly. For example if someone had a snack that you wanted a part of, you'd go, "Oh that looks lovely, must be pretty tasty, I've heard great things about it," etc. You don't say, "Hey can I have a piece of that?"

So Seira being direct and boss bitch af with Haruka is kinda lost, cause in most English speaking countries we're direct to your face with our language, so we don't really notice anything beyond thinking that she's just bitchy.

I love the little thing Minami and Azumi have going on. It's slightly more enjoyable than MC trying to make every other girl in more or less the exact same way (plus some yuri is always nice).

Thanks for the translation.

So basically what they are saying is that the weight of being a leader was too much for her and making her a pet was the best solution? :dogkek:
That's probably what they're aiming at here. Either she was always a lousy leader or being a leader for so long is causing her too much stress, which affects her reasoning and her decisions negatively (which will definitely get worse and worse over time).
So new deal: she doesn't have to think or worry about anything anymore, just turn off her mind and let him make the hard decisions. She'll be happier for it.

Ahh yes, the coax someone into willingly forfeiting their agency in order to avoid stress plan. Now that I think about it pretty much every cult in existence uses this technique to some extent.

not like their job is difficult, they don't really have that much to do. They act like they have SOOOO much work ALLLLl day long but it's probably the exact opposite if it were in reality. Plus it's only been 3 months. You're telling me a lawyer can't handle some goofy ass menial job of delegating to some retards farming, washing cloths, cleaning a bit and making sure they got water to drink?

You are forgetting the part where they're trapped with no way of contacting anyone else (especially their loved ones) or knowing what's going on outside their prison. And it's not like they prepared for a months-long isolation period before they came to school, which means anything they had going on before was abruptly put on hold.
That's more than enough to stress anyone the crap out, which will make any sort of work that much harder to do. Doubly so the kind of work you have to do without payment, with people you may not be all that chummy with.

I was talking about how they "were so busy all day long". That has nothing to do with the stress of the situation. Being stressed doesn't mean they have to work all fucking day.

What are you even talking about? Do you seriously think they're using stress as an excuse do to more work?
And you were the one who said they didn't have that much to do, so which is it? Are they busy all day or not?

yes, the fact there is no reason for them to work all day, which is what is shown in the manga ya tard.
I feel like this argument has spiraled out of control now (also, chill with the insults. Seriously). My initial assesment was that Seira was too stressed out to keep leading everyone, and not without reason: she must know that there's a good chance she'll never escape from this place, plus the ever-increasing pressure put on her thanks to being the one everyone looks up to to lead them is causing her to make wrong decision after wrong decision. Her taking out her frustrations on Mugi seem to support my theory at least (unless they had this kind of relationship before).

The menial work they have to do (and whether or not it lasts all day) matters little here. What matters is that they're in no shape, psychologically speaking, to carry it out day after day, with their current predicament bearing on them and the knowledge that messing up one too many times will get you ostracized at best.

Try to imagine a reality show where the participants were torn away from their day-to-day lives, abruptly imprisoned in a limited space, were given little on the way of entertainment and provisions and have absolutely no way to contact with the outside world. If anything, this manga is on the optimistic side of what would actually go down in this situation.

Minami, where are your fingers going into Azumi?

Minami's getting more and more assertive of her harem it seems.

Man, at this point, I think I may be getting even more annoyed and impatient with Mimori than Azumi is...Stop dragging it out and beating around the bush without actually answering anything, and just fucking EXPLAIN already! Properly! <: ( I don't have a degree in psychology, okay?
